Grease

I’ve not been sleeping very well the past week. It’s as if my entire body knows that she is directly across the hall from me and I usually don’t fall asleep until after midnight.

The shit is taking a toll on me as I snapped at one of the Walker boys at the shop today over something as trivial as not getting me the tires I needed for the bike I was working on fast enough.

Even the Prez has looked at me like I’ve lost my fucking mind but he’s not said anything to me about my behavior yet.

He knows me well enough to know that I’m probably beating myself up over it enough and he doesn’t need to say anything at all.

Tossing myself over onto my back, I sigh into the darkness just as I hear the small sound of my door knob turning.

Looking towards the door, Britni’s face appears in the moonlight shining through the open window and I raise up on the bed.

“Britni? Everything okay?” I ask worriedly.

“Um...Yes. I just wanted to ask you something.” She whispers back even though we are the only two here.

“Okay.” I sit up even straighter, keeping the covers over my waist.

She comes further into the room until she’s an arms length away, right next to the bed. She stares hard at me through the darkness and I wonder briefly what she’s looking for as her eyes seem to scan me from my head to my waist.

“You want to sit down?” I ask, scooting over to make room for her on the bed, thinking she’ll sit just on the edge.

Instead, she sits but turns, laying back against the headboard with her feet up on the bed and I swear I’ve never seen anything more beautiful in my life. I sit back too but try to keep the blanket bunched up over my now rock hard cock.

Turning my head in her direction, I once again see that she’s staring right at me. Has she remembered something?

Just as I’m about to ask her, she leans over quickly pressing her lips to mine in a chaste kiss that still has the ability to set this room into a blaze.

She breaks the kiss first and I try not to move, afraid of scaring her so badly she runs screaming from the room.

“What was that for?” I finally ask, breaking the silence between us.

“I don’t know.” She shrugs, looking away. “I just felt like it.”

Reaching up to her face slowly, I take her chin into my palm, turning her to look back at me.

“In that case then...” I whisper, leaning over and taking her mouth again with my own but this time, I run my tongue along her bottom lip until she gasps.

Running my tongue along hers, I take her mouth in the way I’ve been wanting to do since she first opened her eyes at the hospital. I continue my assault until she’s moaning and her hands grab hold on my head, pulling me even closer.

Breaking off the kiss, the only sounds in the room are us both breathing heavily.
